Thank you for your interest in the Shoseian Teahouse and Friendship Garden! Located in Glendale’s Brand Park, the Shoseian Teahouse & Friendship Garden is a beautiful, cultural experience. As a volunteer-based organization, the Friends of Shoseian are working to bring family-friendly, cultural events to this wonderful place. Below is some basic information that may address your inquiry:

The Friendship Garden is open to the public Monday-Thursday from 10am-3pm. For outdoor wedding, events, photography or filming requests in the Friendship Garden, please contact the City of Glendale Parks & Recreation Department at 818-548-2184. For professional filming requests inside the Teahouse, please contact us at the email below.
Please note that the teahouse interior is not available for private events or reservations outside of our public programming.

On the third Sunday of select months throughout the year, the Friends of Shoseian hosts exciting cultural events for the community. Check out our events calendar for upcoming gatherings inside the Teahouse and the Garden!
